Birds in Art 2010 !
My drawing Winter Blues was accepted into the prestigious Birds In Art exhibition at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum in Wausau, WI.
This is a great honor and one that has eluded me until now. I will attend the opening of the show in Wausau in September.

Congratulations on this highest of honours! Way to stick in there and continue trying. I guess if it was easy to do, it wouldn’t be so highly regarded. Enjoy your time and have fun opening night. Well done, it is a very fine piece indeed!

Congrats !!! I’m so happy for you. Once again I get to say “I knew him when”.
First off, let me say I think your work is terrific. I’m a graphite artist too, altho not of your caliber yet. However, your career gives me hope. The other thing is, I wish somebody would update the site more often. I got all excited about the Charleston thing, until I realized it was for last year. What a letdown!
Nedra,
Thank you for the compliments on my work. And you are right, I should update the website more often. I will try to do better in the future. I am even adding some new artwork right now. Also I do post to the blog section of my site much more frequently. So keep your eye on that.
The Southeastern Wildlife Expo 2011 is actually in about a week and a half. It takes place February 18 – 20. If you can make it stop by and say hello, I would love to talk to you.
Good luck with your work! Being an artist is a journey not a destination. Keep working and you will be creating worthwhile work before you know it.
All the best,
Ray
Cool post! a book mark to your website was at Christian Dillstrom’s list of recommended pieces, you must be doing a cool job as mobile + social media marketing virtuoso provides a hyperlink to you!
