Back from SEWE

Well, another SEWE has come and gone. As always it was a wonderful event and show. I had a wonderful time with friends and family. Including an amazing dinner at a friend and patrons home. To get great food in Charleston you need not go to a fancy restaurant just find a friend who lives there and have them invite you over for a meal.

The art and show was amazing. I made some lovely new acquaintances with artists who were situated near near me. Perhaps not a banner year for sales but, the few I made were substantial enough to make it a successful showing. Thank you to those of you who purchased a drawing, I am thrilled to have my work added to your collections. There is no greater compliment for an artist than to have someone walk up, unbidden, and say they would like to take a piece of your work home with them. It still tickles me to no end every time it happens.

Thanks to the SEWE staff for once again putting on a great show and sale. I look forward to coming to Charleston every year.

There is some exciting news that I will be posting soon concerning new work. Details will follow in the next post. Basically there will be 60 new pieces in 60 days! Stay tuned to find out more!
